About the Project
In supporting the launch of its new sub-brand, Velocity Fitness, Velocity Sports Performance was up against two challenges. One, it was invisible on the fitness scene. Two, it had to buck the trend of trendy, intimidating health clubs it knew turned its "average adult" target off.
Our direct mail concept was a one-two punch. Beyond looking cool and edgy, our die-cut, tri-fold design made the new brand appear strong and established. Instead of shouty, amped-up copy, earnest and informative messaging sold the Velocity Fitness advantage with the message skeptics wanted to hear: No fads, no egos, no attitude—just natural training with real results. No sweat.
